Dear Bloglovin',
Using my entire blog without my consent constitutes stealing of
intellectual property. We all know that a certain amount of what people create can
be used for educational purposes, etc. But having another website dominate another person's work without consent is despicable.
I first discovered your existence when I deleted certain contents from my
blog, but I accidentally saw a clone of my blog complete with the contents I
had deleted from my official blog. Bloglovin', you kept everything. Whatever I deleted from my blog did not matter. I sent an email
to ask you to remove my blog posts, but years later, everything is still there.
This is a public request for you Bloglovin' to remove my entire blog
from your collection of other stolen contents (mainly). I did not authorize you to display or use my content on your website. (Please note the copyright sign at the
bottom). I do not want to share my blog with you. I do not want to claim what
is mine on your website. I did not give the RSS feed explicit consent to give to
you my work; it is for me to share my work with the public, not for you to
possess. Contrary to what you have said, your site does not benefit me. It
benefits you and that is the only reason you would take other people's work to
feed your website.
Please delete my blogs Day
Laughs Night Cries and Conceive
Writing from your site.
Thank you.

ReplyDeleteSome people don't mind being on Bloglovin'.
DeleteYou know, I never saw the site under this point of view and Im very sorry, hope you get some answers from them and fixed the problem. Have a good weekend Peaches! xo
ReplyDeleteIt may work for you, Lilli.
DeleteThis was eye opening! I can feel your frustration! Have a great weekend, Peaches!
ReplyDeleteThanks and same to you. Have a great weekend.
DeleteI don't care for the name, either.
ReplyDeleteYou're on the site.
DeleteAfter reading of all your troubles with Bloglovin' , I am glad I never used them.
ReplyDeleteHope they resolve this matter for you.. don't give up!
You are there too. I never requested to be on their list. They just take over your blog once you decide to make your blog public.
DeleteI am there too ...yikes, how did that happen???
DeleteI signed up for Bloglovin in the past. I wonder if they have done the same with mine?
ReplyDeleteYou asked in my comments about who designed my blog. I did! :-)
You did an excellent job, Birdie.
DeleteGlad I avoided the bloglovin crap
ReplyDeleteYou are there, Pat, on the Facebook page with 85 followers.
DeleteOh boy, sounds like you have a challenge.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lesson for me hold some things back.
DeleteNow this is something I haven't heard of before, but ten to one it will become more and more common. Good luck with one.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this either. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I haven't heard of this. I hope it gets cleared up for you.
ReplyDeleteSister, there are a lot of such blogs which copy/paste everything from other sites... I think it's automated, you know, somebody starts the blog, but then it just automatically steals your stories. I have at least ten such blogs around the net which copy everything exactly as it appears at HOLLYWOOD SPY even the formatting... they do it to get money from Google Ads and I haven't find the way to stop them
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what is happening, Peaches, but I am sorry about it. I haven't heard of this, either. My heart goes out to you.

ReplyDeleteSorry to be so late getting back to you, Peaches. Having read this, think I will retreat from that site!
ReplyDeleteThanks to computer issues and a bit of playing hooky, the days quickly passed. But, to the present, big applause for your for speaking out. About two years ago, I stopped writing posts about growing up on the Louisiana farm because they were being stolen. So I really, REALLY feel for you. There's a lot out-right theft going on in Blogville, sometimes from seemingly benign bloggers who collect lists for This and That, which frosted me. Anyway, bravo for fighting the good fight!
